Key Constituency : Ajmer

Ajmer is one of the important constituencies of Rajasthan state due to the reason that congress leader and a young gun, Sachin Pilot, son of late congress leader Rajesh Pilot contested from here and won the election with a remarkable majority. His main rival was Kiran Maheshwari of BJP. In total there were 8 candidates in the fray. He won the 2004 Lok Sabha election for the first time from Dausa.
