Key Constituency: Anantnag

Anantnag is one of the important constituencies of Jammu & Kashmir state due to the reason that the senior leader of JKN Mirza Mehboob Beg contested from here and won the seat with a narrow margin. JKPDP chief Mehbooba Mufti was the sitting MP from this seat in 2004 election. In total there were 13 candidates in fray.
