Key Constituency : Bangalore South

Bangalore South is one of the important constituencies of the state of Karnataka as the Air Daccan founder, Captain Gopinath contested the elections as an independent candidate and lost to Ananth Kumar, a senior BJP leader who won this seat in the 2004 general elections too and in total there were 20 candidates in the fray.
