Key Constituency : Chhindwara

Chhindwara is one of the important constituencies of the state of Madhya Pradesh due to the reason that senior Congress leader and cabinet minister Kamal Nath contested from here again and re-elected for the third term consecutively. He was the sitting MP from this seat in 2004 general elections too. His main rival was Marot Rao Khvase of BJP and in total there were 28 candidates in the fray.
