Key Constituency : Guna

Guna is one of the important parliamentary constituencies in Madhya Pradesh due to the reason that the Jyotiraditya Scindia (one of young guns and star campaigner) of Congress contested from here. He was also the sitting MP from this seat (General Election 2004) and re-elected (2009). His main rivals were Lok Pal Lodhi (BSP) and Narottam Mishra (BJP). In total there were 18 candidates in fray.
