Key Constituency : Indore

Indore is one of the important parliamentary constituencies from the state of Madhya Pradesh due to the reason that senior BJP leader Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan contested from here and got re-elected. She was also the sitting MP from this seat in 2004 general election. In 2009 election, it was a quadrangular contest, her main rivals were candidates from BSP, INC and SP and in total there were 20 candidates in the fray.
