Key Constituencies : Patna Sahib

Patna Sahib is one the important constituencies of the state of Bihar due to the reason that the bollywood star and politician Shaturghan Sinha of BJP contested from here. This time he was contesting against another media personality Shekhar Suman, who was contesting on INC ticket for the first time for the Lok Sabha election. In total there were 16 candidates in the fray.

Shatrughan Sinha won the election with a comfortable margin while Shekhar Suman finished third.
