Winter Session of the Parliament 2010

7th Nov. 2010, According to a press release, the Winter Session, 2010, of the Parliament (6th Session of Fifteenth Lok Sabha and the 221st Session of the Rajya Sabha) is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, the 9th of November, 2010 and the Session is expected to conclude on Monday, the 13th of December, 2010. The Session will provide 24 sittings spread over a period of 35 days.

The Session will mainly be devoted to essential Government legislative and other business, including financial business relating to Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2010-11 in respect of General Budget.
